After installation of explorer patcher, navigate to this screen.
First make a backup BEFORE changing anything.
Make a backup of your entire registry too
Download this export that I use if you want it to look just like w10.
You can open in text editor to see it's safe, if you wanted you could paste it into my GPT. GPT can scan for safety, even correct errors, make macro's etc. You really don't need to do this, it's just an example of how you could use my GPT if you're not a techie.
Use the import function in the image above under settings and uninstall
Otherwise play around with settings Here's what I have for my taskbar settings:
Click Restart File Explorer after making changes, might need to restart.
If something happens and you no longer have explorer running (taskbar etc) Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, run new task, type explorer.exe and hit enter.
Applications Needed: - Explorer Patcher
click computer -> File -> Export
Save somewhere safe
